Obviously, we move closers to the final release with this Android 12 beta update. Google seeds the new beta with SPB3.210618.016 build number, the monthly security patch is the same as the previous build. It is based on July 2021 monthly security patch. Android 12 Beta 3.1 Update What’s New
This minor update to Android 12 Beta 3 includes stability improvements as well as the following fixes:
Fixed an issue that caused some devices to get stuck in a boot loop after restarting the device. (Issue #193789343)Fixed an issue that sometimes caused the System UI to crash.Fixed an issue that sometimes caused the Android low memory killer daemon (lmkd) to excessively kill processes.
In this release, Google addressed some major issues, such as boot loop after restarting the device, System UI crash issue, and fix to Android low memory killer daemon. If you are already using the Android 12 developer preview or Android 12 Beta, then you will get the OTA update directly on your phone. In case if you don’t get the notification for the update, you can check it manually. You can check for the update by going to Settings > System > Software Update. And then tap on download and install to get Android 12 beta 3.1 on your Pixel. And if you want to switch from a Stable to Beta, then you can opt for Android Beta Program or flash the full Android 12 Beta 3.1 Factory Image.
