In addition to releasing the stable Android 14 build, Asus is actively testing preview versions on several of its devices, including the ROG Phone 6 and 6D. These models are expected to receive the stable update soon. If you haven’t received the update yet, be sure to check the list of Asus phones eligible for Android 14. The Android 14 update for the ROG Phone 7/7 Ultimate marks the first major update for these devices. It is available with build number 34.1010.0820.55. Since it is a major update, it is larger in size compared to regular updates. The update also brings some major changes. Here is the official changelog.

If you own a ROG Phone 7 or ROG Phone 7 Ultimate, you will receive the update via OTA. As usual, this update is being rolled out in stages, which means it could take a few days or weeks to reach all devices. Sometimes the notification doesn’t appear instantly when the update is available. So make sure to check for the update manually in Settings.
