Apple is all set to release the iOS 14 soon in WWDC 2020 which is scheduled on June 22. The countdown for the event already began. There is news that all iPhones and iPads that running on iOS 13/iPadOS 13 will get the iOS 14/iPadOS 14. It means soon we get the iOS 14 beta with many new features. When the iOS 13.5 was released, we expected that it is going to be the last iteration but they released the new renamed beta. But there are very less chances that Apple will release any new renamed beta. If you don’t like to use the beta version then you have to wait for a few months till the release of public stable iOS 14. The iOS 13.6 Beta 2 update comes in about 300MB and can vary according to the device. It comes with the build version 17G5045c. Along with iOS 13.6 Beta 1, Apple has also released the iPadOS 13.6 Beta 2, tvOS 13.4.8 Beta and macOS 10.15.6 Beta 2. The update brings some new feature but there is no change in the modem firmware. It means there will be no change in the network and wifi connections. We will list the new features below.

iOS 13.6 Beta 2 & iPadOS 13.6 Beta 2 – Features

Customize Automatic Updates Apple has customized the software option and now it offers better update control option. They have separated the Automatic Download and Automatic Install option which is more reliable. In the older version, we only had the option to select Automatic update which downloads and install the update. So this was not reliable for the condition when we have WiFi to download data but we don’t want to turn off the phone at that time. The new option is available under Settings > General > Software Update > Customize Automatic Updates. New Symptoms Category The new iOS 13.6 Beta 2 update comes with another new feature which is the Symptoms category in the Health app. This is a new category which helps us to track all our previous health records. There is also the option to choose a different type of symptoms with the risk level. Also, it describes all the symptoms which means you don’t have to google to know about symptoms. You can also access the data anytime in the Symptoms category. Along with these two new features, the iOS 13.6 Beta 2 update and iPadsOS 13.6 Beta 2 also comes with few bugs fixes. If you had the home screen web apps support URL issue, then this update will fix the issue. As the update is available for developer beta tester and public beta tester, anyone can install it on their iPhones and iPads.
