iOS 15 Beta Features
iOS comes with many new features out of which some we already available to the public from some leaks. But also, there are some features that we didn’t know coming to iOS 15. Let’s see What’s new in iOS 15. FaceTime now comes with many new additions including Spatial audio. It allows us to choose if voices surrounding us are audible to others or not. In Facetime, you can now choose grid view for an easy facetime session. You can also generate links to share with others who can join Facetime with your link directly from web browsers which allows users from other OS (like Android) to join the conversation. Facetime also comes with a portrait mode option. SharePlay allows friends and family to listen to music together, watch movies together. All this you can do while using Facetime. Anyone who is on Facetime can add songs or movies in the queue. iMessage also got an update in which you can now access shared content directly from stock apps like articles from the News app, songs from Apple Music, photos from gallery and more. iOS 15 Beta also comes with a new Notification layout that groups the same type of notifications. You can select Do not disturb mode and it will automatically set the DND for messages as well. Other iOS 15 features include Focus, Photo search, Spotlight, New library with Music, Apple Wallet changes, Apple Maps improvements, Apple weather redesigned, etc.
iPadOS 15 Beta Features
iPads have the advantage of a big screen compared to iPhones. It means along with most of the iOS features, you will get to experience some exclusive features. The iPadOS 15 introduces some new widgets that allow us to create a setup that makes accessing content easier. Not only this, but new size widgets also make the home screen view great. Adding too many Widgets can send your frequently used apps to the last screen. And opening the app will take more time as you have to first scroll to the tab where your app icons are located. So, to tackle this situation, iPadOS 15 now comes with an App Library section which you can access directly from the dock in one tap. It opens the App library with a cluster of apps. Multitasking is probably the main feature of the iPad which is why users prefer iPad because it has a bigger screen and allows using more than one app. iPadOS 15 allows us to enable multitasking with just one tap on top. You can choose Split view to show two apps side by side. To swap any app, just swipe down and choose another app you want. Shelf and keyboard are also other additions that take multitasking to the next level. Notes also received a major update that makes taking notes easier than before. iPadOS 15 also comes with a Translate feature that works system-wide which you can also use during multitasking. Swift Playground is another main highlight of the iPadOS 15 which allows developers to develop apps and games directly from your iPad. Don’t have a Mac, no worries, take your iPad and go on with your developer skills.
