The iOS 14.4 Beta 2 is currently out for developers. Hopefully, the second beta will also go live by the time you are reading this. Generally, it takes a few hours for the public beta rollout. We will update it once it is available to the public. Today, Apple also released macOS Big Sur 11.2 Beta 2, tvOS 14.4 Beta 2, and watchOS 7.3 Beta 2 along with iOS 14.4 and iPadOS 14.4 Beta 2. Both iOS 14.4 and iPadOS 14.4 Beta 2 come with build number 18D5043d. It is a small incremental update and weighs around 300MB depending on the model you have. iOS 14.4 Beta 2 Update – What’s New
As usual, the update changelog only includes bug fixes and performance improvement. In the first beta users experienced some bugs including flickering issues on some devices. Other known issues are Green Tint, cellular data, etc to some iPhone users. Some users have reported that the flickering and green tint issue is not fixed yet. Expectedly, it will solve other issues from iOS 14.4 Beta 1. The device performance is smooth and some users gave feedback that the stutter is no longer there in the second beta. The update is currently available for developers and soon it will go live for public beta testers as well. If you are already on the first iOS 14.4 Beta, then you should be receiving the update over the air. In case if you didn’t get the notification, you can manually check for the update. Go to Settings > Software Update and it will show the latest available update for your iPhone. And if you are on the stable build and want to try out the iOS 14.4 Beta 2.
