Update 1: Apple re-releases both iOS 14.5 Beta 1 and iPadOS 14.5 Beta 1. And this time it is also available for public beta testers as well. It comes with a different build number 18E5140k. It fixes some bugs that are present in the early build released this week. It is available to beta testers over the air. It is one of the weekly updates that majorly focused on bug fixes and performance improvements. The latest update comes with a few bug fixes. iOS 14.5 Beta 1 update finally brings the support for dual 5G in dual sim mode worldwide. It means you can use 5G on both networks on your iPhone. One of the main concerns is Unlocking the phone while wearing face masks. But this update brings an option to unlock iPhone using the Apple Watch. The first iOS 14.5 beta and iPadOS 14.5 beta are out for developers. But as usual, both updates will go live for public testers as well. If you are on the last beta build which is iOS 14.4 RC then you can directly update to iOS 14.5 Beta 1. In case if you didn’t get an OTA notification then you can manually update your phone from Settings > Software Update. If you are on the iOS 14.4 public build, then you will have to first install the beta profile on your iPhone or iPad. It will send all coming beta updates directly on your phone.
