iOS 14.6 and iPadOS 14.6 come with some notable changes that are important for coming features. Last week was unusual as we got to see three iOS updates and all three for beta testers only. iOS 14.6 RC, iOS 14.6 RC2 and also iOS 14.7 Beta 1. About a few weeks ago Apple mostly releases updates on Tuesday, but from the last few weeks, we are getting updates on Monday. Well, it doesn’t matter much if we are getting regular updates. Apple releases tvOS 14.6, HomePod 14.6, watchOS 7.5, and macOS Big Sur 11.4 updates along with iOS 14.6 and iPadOS 14.6. Both iOS 14.6 and iPadOS 14.6 come with 18F72 which is the same build as the last release candidate build. Both updates come with many changes and features including the modem firmware upgrade. Download & Install iOS 14.6 and iPadOS 14.6
As usual, the update will be available to everyone over the air. And as you know Apple doesn’t roll out updates in phases, so you can update your iPhone or iPad immediately. If you are on the last stable build iOS 14.5.1 or iOS 14.5, then you will directly get the update. To check for updates, go to Settings > Software Update. Now click on Download & Install button to get the latest update. In case you have installed a beta profile on your iPhone or iPad for beta testing. Then you will not receive the update on your phone. In that case, you can remove the beta profile to get the latest stable iOS 14.6 update. But remember you will not receive beta updates unless you reinstall the beta profile.

And if your iPhone/iPad running a higher version, then you need to downgrade your Apple device. But it will remove all data from your iPhone. So, we don’t recommend downgrade unless you want to Jailbreak iPhone or iPad. You can also install the updates manually with iTunes or Finder.
