Last week Apple issued Release Candidate for both iOS 14.7 and iPadOS 14.7 with new modem firmware and support for MagSafe battery pack for iPhone 12 models. Also last week Apple pushed iOS 15 beta 3 and iPadOS 15 Beta 3. iOS 15 will soon be launching this year; it means iPhone users will be receiving limited iOS 14 updates. Along with the iOS 14.7, Apple also seeds watchOS 7.6 and tvOS 14.7. As of now macOS Big Sur 11.5 and iPadOS 14.7 are not available yet. This is not something common, so we can expect the iPadOS 14.7 release by this week. The iOS 14.7 update is available with the build number 18G69 same as the Release Candidate. The update comes with some new features that you can check in the next section.

Download iOS 14.7 Update
The iOS 14.7 update is now available for all users with eligible iPhones. It means if you are using iOS 14.6, you can update your device right away. In case if you have an update to the iOS 14.7 Release Candidate, the update is the same as the public build so you will not receive the update. If you don’t get the update notification, you can check for the update manually by going to Settings > Software Update. Then click on Download & Install to get the latest update. In case you have installed a beta profile on your iPhone or iPad for beta testing. Then you will not receive the update on your iPhone. In that case, you can remove the beta profile to get the latest stable iOS 14.7 update. But remember you will not receive beta updates unless you reinstall the beta profile.

And if your iPhone/iPad running a higher version (iOS 15 Beta), then you need to downgrade your Apple device. But it will remove all data from your iPhone. So, we don’t recommend downgrade unless you want to Jailbreak iPhone or iPad. You can also install the updates manually with iTunes or Finder.
