iOS 15.4 beta 4 was released last week with a build number that ends with ‘a’. Usually, this means that the next release will be the release candidate build. But sometimes Apple surprises with another beta. Also going by the rumors, it seems that Apple may skip the Release Candidate build or release it by this week. Whatever it is, the public build will be released next week. Now coming to other releases by Apple today, the OEM also released macOS Monterey 12.3 Beta 5, watchOS 8.5 Beta 5, and tvOS 15.4 Beta 5. Both iOS 15.4 Beta 5 and iPadOS 15.4 Beta 5 come with build number 19E5241a. The beta update size is almost the same for all iPhones. Talking about changes and new features, we got to see many new features in iOS 15.4 from Beta 1. But as we are now close to public release the update brings bug fixes and a few changes. In Beta 5, there are new splash screens and some other minor changes.

Both iOS 15.4 Beta 5 and iPadOS 15.4 Beta 5 were first available to developers. But now both updates are available to public beta testers as well. And if you are on beta 4 then you can easily update it from Settings > General > Software Update. But if you are on a public stable build and want to test beta 5, then you need to install a beta profile. We suggest waiting for the public release at its just a week ago. Before updating your iPhone or iPad, make sure to charge it at 50% and take a backup. As it is a beta update there can be some bugs.
