The last iOS 15.6 beta update i.e. fifth beta, was released last week. Last week many of us expected the release candidate build, but Apple surprised us with a new beta. It is not something we have seen for the first time, so surprises like this are common. Along with iOS 15.6 RC and iPadOS 15.6 RC, Apple also released macOS Monterey 12.5 RC, tvOS 15.6 RC, and watchOS 8.7 RC. Both iOS 15.6 RC and iPadOS 15.6 RC come with build number 19G69. And the public build will also come with the same build number which is expected next week if Apple doesn’t surprise with another RC that has happened several times before. The update size of new Release Candidate builds depends on the update you are coming from. If you are updating from Beta 5, then it weighs around 4-5GB. And as this is a release candidate build which is exactly the same as the public build that will release next week, we are not expecting any big changes or new features. However, you can expect bug fixes and some improvements. The iOS 15.6 RC and iPadOS 15.6 RC builds are now available to both developers and beta testers. And if you are on any iOS 15.6 beta builds, then you can check for the update by going to Settings > General > Software Update. And if you are on the iOS 15.5 public build, then no need to switch to beta as it will be available to the public next week. Before updating your iPhone or iPad, make sure to charge it at 50% and take a backup. As it is a beta update there can be some bugs. And if you want to try the new iOS 16 Beta with major changes and new features then you can check out this guide to install iOS 16 Beta. Also Check:
