Apple has started pushing the new beta to developers with a 20U5527c build number. The first beta weighs 244MB in size, you can quickly upgrade your watch to the first beta. The upgrade is available to everyone running on the watchOS 9 or later versions. If you are a developer, you can install the first beta on your watch right now, if you are a public beta tester, then you need to wait for a few hours to receive the new update. Just like the previous beta updates, Apple didn’t share any information about changes in the release notes, but you can expect new features and enhancements with this update. If your iPhone is running on the latest iOS 16.6 first beta, then you can easily update your Apple Watch to the new watchOS 9.6 beta, all you need to do is, install the beta profile on your device and then update it over the air. Here’s how you can update your watch to the beta. Make sure that your Apple Watch is charged at least 50% and connected to a WiFi network. After installing the beta profile, open the Apple Watch app on your phone, head over to General > Software Update > Download and Install, then install the new software. Now the watchOS 9.6 beta 1 update will download and transfer to your Apple Watch. And after the completion of the installation process, your watch will restart.
