The iOS 13.5 GM and iPadOS 13.5 GM is the stable version for beta users, which means when the public stable will be out, you will not receive the update as it is the same. All the new features that we have covered in the beta update news is available in the iOS 13.5 GM and iPadOS 13.5 GM. The last two Beta update was mainly focused on the Covid-19 pandemic. It helps users to track if they have been in contact with any Covid-19 patient. The iOS 13.5 Golden Master edition update size is around 4GB as it contains all the data, including the past Beta updates. The Software Version that we get to see in the iOS 13.5 GM build is 17F75. This update does not come with any new feature if you are using the iOS 13.5 Beta 4. But if you are in the stable iOS 13.4.1, then you get to see many new features and bug fixes.

The update doesn’t include any change in the Modem Firmware, which means no changes in terms of connectivity like Network or WiFi. As you know, the iOS 13.4.5 renamed to iOS 13.5 after adding the Covid-19 feature. The Covid-19 feature introduced in iOS 13.5 Beta 3, which created panic among users that the feature is tracking location and other data. So in the next Beta 4, Apple changed the settings mentioning that it does not collect any type of data. The update also fixed many major bugs like message issue in which if someone sends some series of a specific message, then the device gets stuck. And this issue has also been fixed in the iOS 13.5 Beta 4, which means you don’t face this bug on iOS 13.5 GM and iPadOS 13.5 GM. If you are in one of the iOS 13.5 betas, then you will receive the update on your phone. And in case if you didn’t receive the update, then you can also use the below OTA file to upgrade your phone. For users who are not using a beta version, they need to apply for beta from the Apple beta official website. It will give you a beta profile that you can install on your iPhone or iPad. And after that, you will start receiving the Beta updates. But in case if you didn’t get the OTA updates, then You can manually download the OTA file and install it on your iPhone or iPad. So if you want the latest iOS 13.5 GM, then the first preference will be to install the beta profile and update from settings. But if you don’t want to install the beta profile, then you might have to sideload the IPSW file or OTA file on your iPhone or iPad.
