Nothing is a new brand backed by Carl Pei and last year in 2021, they introduced their first product, Nothing Ear (1). And now the OEM has finally released its first smartphone which is the second product from the company. It is one of the most hyped phones this year. And it is up to device performance if Nothing has done a great job with their first smartphone or it was unworthy of such hype. Starting with the screen, the device comes with a 6.55-inch flexible OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support and a punch-hole camera cutout on the left corner. The Nothing Phone (1) comes with Battery 4,500mAh that supports 33W charging speed. And it will not ship with a charger in the box. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 778G+ chipset which was leaked a long back. It will ship with the latest Android 12 OS. Nothing Phone 1 is available in 8GB and 16GB RAM variants alongside the 128GB and 256GB storage options. In terms of optics, the device has two cameras on the back. It includes two 50MP snappers (with Sony IMX766 primary and Samsung JN1 secondary sensor) on the back side and there is a 16MP front camera for selfies. For security, the device features an In-display fingerprint sensor. Nothing Phone 1 comes in Black and White color options with a transparent back and Glyph Interface LED lights. It starts at £399 (approx. $475 USD) in the UK and ₹32,999 in India and will be available in open sales starting July 21.
