Redmi K60 (Pro) – Quick Overview
Redmi unveiled its new K60 Series smartphones two days ago at an event held in mainland China. Before moving to the wallpapers section, here’s a quick look at the specs of the new phones. Xiaomi launches the K60 and the K60 Pro with the same 6.67-inch AMOLED panel, a 2K resolution panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+. The main difference between the two models is the K60 Pro comes with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, whereas the vanilla Redmi K60 has the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. The new phones come in three different configurations – 8GB / 12GB / 16GB RAM and 128GB / 256GB / 512GB storage onboard. Both phones come with Android 13 based on MIUI 14 custom skin. In terms of optics, the Pro model comes with a 50MP Sony IMX800 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP macro camera. Whereas the vanilla K60 has 64MP primary sensor. For selfies, the duo has a 16MP shooter for selfies. Redmi releases the new K60 smartphone with a 5,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. The K60 Pro has a 5,000mAh battery and a whopping 120W charging speed. It goes official in Green, White, Black, and Champion Performance Edition color options and starts at CNY3,299 (approx. $475 / €455 / ₹39,320).
