Samsung Galaxy Fold – Details
With the launch of the new Galaxy smartphones S10, S10e, and S10 Plus, Samsung surprisingly unveiled the new Galaxy Fold. The Galaxy Fold house 2 different displays, one at the outside with 4.6″ Super AMOLED panel which has 840 X 1960 pixels resolution. While the inside display is of 7.3″ Infinity flex Dynamic AMOLED panel with 1536 X 2152 pixels resolution. To make sure the folding mechanism works well, Samsung packs the phone with a robust folding backbone. Also, the company works on some different components, processors, and the apps which work with the new Galaxy Fold. It is powered by the Snapdragon 855 SoC & runs on Android Pie 9.0 based on One UI. The phone houses 12GB RAM and 512GB onboard storage. Talking about the cameras, the new Galaxy Fold bundled with a total of 6 cameras, 3 on the front and 3 in the back. On the front, it has a 10MP+10MP+8MP lens with f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, and HDR support. While the primary camera has 3 lenses of 12MP+12MP+16MP with an f/1.5-2.4 aperture, Dual Pixel PDAF, OIS, 2X optical zoom, and more. Samsung shows the presentation with a demo, while it is not available for the demo. But the company launches the Galaxy Fold on April 26 at the super expensive price point of $1980.
