We have already entered the last month of the year. According to some reports, Samsung is planning to release Android 13 and One UI 5 for eligible phones by this year. This means that the remaining eligible Galaxy phones will get the update this month. So if you own a Galaxy phone which is eligible for Android 13 but hasn’t received the update, you won’t have to wait much longer. The Android 13 based One UI 5 update for Galaxy M42 5G is currently live in Sri Lanka with build M426BXXU3CVK5. And the Galaxy F52 5G Android 13 update is rolling out in China with build number E5260ZCU1CVK8. The original Galaxy Z Flip is also getting the Android 13 update in the US with build number F700USQU5HVK5. Talking about changes, all three Galaxy phones getting One UI 5 updates with similar changes. Only the Galaxy Z Flip might have some extra features because of its different form factor. One UI 5 common features include new lock screen customization, new wallpapers, big widgets, widget stacking, more color palette, tweaked app icons, per app language, notification permission, improved privacy and security, and many other features. There are many other features that you can check here. If you are a Galaxy F52, Galaxy M42, and Galaxy Z Flip user, you can expect the OTA update soon if it is available in your region. Sometimes the notification doesn’t work and so in that case you need to manually check for the update. To do that go to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.
