AI is rapidly reaching everywhere, including browsers. There are many ways that AI can help users achieve a better browsing experience. We have seen many AI features coming to Chrome since last year, and the addition of three new AI features will further improve the user experience. Let’s check out new AI features for Chrome in details.

AI powered Google Lens for Chrome Desktop

With Google Lens on Chrome desktop, you can look up anything you see in the tab, be it image, text, or video. You can search for anything in the page without leaving the current tab. It’s quite similar to circle to search feature on Galaxy and Pixel phones. You just have to select the part you want to explore and it will show the results. The working is quite simple, all you have to do is click the Google Lens in the address bar and then drag or click on anything to select. Chrome will then show the results in the side panel where you can also modify your current query or ask a follow up question.

Compare products from different tabs

When in search for the best product, we tend to look different products in different tabs. While searching continuously jump between tabs to compare products which becomes a hectic task. The new Chrome AI feature, Tab Compare takes on this challenge, by providing the option to compare products from different tabs. Tab Compare brings product details from various tabs and create a comparison tab that you can follow to compare the products you are browsing. It works on any case whether the products are from different websites or the same website.

Easily find your visited sites

The AI powered chrome history feature let you find sites you’ve visited before but don’t remember in a natural and conversational way. You can ask the Google for the site and it will show relevant results from your history. For example, you can ask “What was that ice cream shop I looked at last week?” and Chrome will show relevant site pages that you visited earlier. This can be useful in some cases and could save time as you don’t have to go through a long list of history to find a page you are looking for. Users will have option to enable and disable the option. These three AI features will be available in Chrome desktop soon. As usual, this will be a batch rollout, which means it might take some time for everyone to get these new AI features. The first two features could be really useful for users. Also Check:
