Update: Apple M1 Pro and M1 Max chips are now available. These chips are more powerful than the first-gen M1 Chip. Performance wise M1 chips are in order M1 < M1 Pro < M1 Max. M2 Chip is also available with minor upgrades over the M1 chip. macOS is popular for its amazing and fluid performance but not for gaming. This is why gamers mostly go for Windows-based computers. But with the release of the new Apple M1 chip. The gaming experience is going to be better even without any dedicated GPU. Many users have tested some games and shared the list on different platforms. Apple M1 chip comes in the MacBook Air, MacBook Pro 13″, and Mac Mini. The gaming experience can differ in these Macs as they pack different hardware other than the Apple M1 chip. But all three Macs will be able to run all the games that are given on the list.

The list doesn’t include all the games that are compatible with M1 Macs. But we will be updating it regularly when we get info about other games that run on M1 Macs. You can also contribute to the list by updating the Google sheet shared by Thomas or you can also share in the comment section. As you know, CPU and GPU is not the only requirement to run Games on a PC. It means on some Mac you get good gaming performance and maybe bad performance on some Macs.
