This means that if you own a Pixel 9 and Google releases Android 15, your phone will receive the public version of the update on the same day. In addition to regular monthly security updates and yearly OS updates, Google releases Pixel Drops every quarter with several useful features. On its support page, Google mentioned that the Pixel 9 lineup will receive updates through August 2031, including the June 2031 Pixel Drop.
