Amongst other things, Apple has added the support for “Portrait Mode” like feature in FaceTime and other video calling apps. This basically means that you will now be able to blur the background of your video calls not only on FaceTime, but also while video calling on third-party apps like WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, etc. This feature is pretty handy for you when you are talking to someone and you don’t want to compromise your privacy. This is one of the really useful and exciting features that Apple has introduced in their upcoming iOS 15. This Portrait Mode feature along with many other features, makes Apple’s video calling app more comparable with competitors like Zoom and Skype. Supported iPhones
Unfortunately, this feature is not supported on all iPhones. This feature is supported only on iPhones that have the A12 Bionic chip and above. Basically, to use this feature, you will need an iPhone XS or later. And of course, you will need iOS 15. Here is a list of all the devices that can use this feature:

Unfortunately, if you don’t have any of the above-mentioned devices, you will not be able to use this feature.
