iOS 14.5 just completed its long run of beta testing with a total of 8 betas in the iteration. But no one wants to test a non-major update for this long. And I hope this time Apple doesn’t surprise us with too many betas. Unlike iOS 14.5, iOS 14.6 started with a small update with a few changes. And the iOS 14.6 Beta 2 is also a small bug fix update with no major changes. On Friday, along with iOS 14.6 Beta 2 and iPadOS 14.6 Beta 2, Apple also released tvOS 14.6 Beta 2, HomePos 14.6 Beta 2, and watchOS 7.5 Beta 2 updates. Both iOS 14.6 and iPadOS 14.6 Beta 2 are available to developers and public beta testers with build number 18F5055b. It is a small beta update with only a few minor changes and bug fixes.

iOS 14.6 Beta 2 – What’s New

In the second beta, we now have the option to set an emoji as an icon for any AirTag we pair with iPhone. It will ask in the AirTag setup process just after assigning a name to the AirTag. Apple also added Manage Subscription in the Podcast app. You will find under your profile, click on your profile icon and Manage Subscription will be there at the top. Apple also starts allowing users to update over cellular network with the beta 2. Along with these changes, you may find some bug fixes as well. But it looks like the green tint issue is still there for many users. It may or may not be fixed for you in this update.
