We’ve seen a bunch of second RC builds this year. If we’re getting the second release candidate, it means that the first RC had a major issue that could affect the iPhone experience on daily use. The second iOS 15.2 release candidate focuses on improvements and improvements to the iPhone 13 series. It also comes with a new modem update to fix the connectivity or network switching issues. Apart from modem update, you can also expect some other bug fixes like lag or freeze on some apps. Since it is only available for the iPhone 13 series, other iPhones still run on the first RC and will receive the public update with the same build number as the RC1. Whereas in the case of the iPhone 13 series, iOS 15.2 RC2 comes with build number 19C57 and will be available to the public alongside the same build.

iOS 15.2 adds Apple Music Voice Plan, a new subscription tier that provides access to music using Siri, This update also includes the App Privacy Report, new Safety features for children and parents in Messages, and other features and bug fixes for your iPhone. iOS 15.2 RC2 is only available for the iPhone 13 series. So if you have opted for beta and have already updated your iPhone 13 device to the first release candidate, you may have already received the update. If not, you can check for updates manually from Settings > Software Update. Click on Download & Install option to install the update on your iPhone 13.
