Twitter user Manish’s Odyssey (@NovaManish) spotted the Funtouch OS 12 on their iQOO Z5. The latest build is rolling with PD2148F_EX_36.9.2 software version measures a whopping 5.08GB of download size. Obviously, it is a major upgrade and requires a big chunk of data for downloading the update. For the time being, the update is in a beta phase and available to select iQOO Z5 users, we can expect the rollout of stable build very soon. iQOO is seeding the Funtouch OS 12 update with a slew of new features, enhancements, and fixes. Talking about the features, then the update brings new widgets, nano music player, stickers, small windows, visual design with rounder corners across the system. Apart from these changes, the update brings a better system for security and privacy controls. For now, the complete changelog is not available to us, but here’s a screenshot shared by Manish.
iQOO Z5 Android 12 update
The wait is finally over, iQOO Z5 users can now upgrade their phones to the Android 12 based Funtouch OS 12 update. As I said earlier, this is a beta build and already available to select iQOO Z5 users. You can go to the Settings > System updates and then check the new updates. If the update is available on your unit, then you can download it, if not, then you can wait for a few days.
