Both build 22621.436 and 22622.436 are different in terms of the new features. Build 22622.436 comes with new features whereas the other Build 22621.436 has new features off by default. Users who will get the build with features off can check for the update manually in Settings to install Build 22622.436 if they want. Now let’s talk about new features that come in the new Windows 11 Insider Preview build. Microsoft has done some improvements in the file sharing section. Microsoft has improved the Nearby sharing in this build and users will be able to discover and share to more devices including desktop PCs. This is applicable for the apps that use a built-in Windows sharing window. In the latest build, users can also share local files to OneDrive without any context switches or opening the OneDrive app. When sharing from the built-in Windows sharing window, users can choose to directly upload to OneDrive and grant the file access level. Other changes include Windows Terminal is now the default terminal in Windows 11. So any command application in Windows 11 will open through Windows Terminal automatically. This can be changed from Settings > Privacy & security > For developers. In the new build, users can also report animated gifs that are inappropriate. If you’ve joined the Insider Preview via the Beta channel and running on Windows 11, then you’ll receive the new update. You can receive any of the two builds, and if you get Build 22621.436, you will have the option to upgrade to Build 22622.436.
