Motorola has kicked off the new software upgrade with the T1SA33.73-40 build number. Currently, the upgrade is in a rolling phase and will be available to everyone in a matter of time. AT&T’s support page also confirmed the rollout and as per the details, the update weighs around 1.6GB in size. As it is a big upgrade, make sure that you have enough storage on your device. In terms of changes, the new software comes with a stack of new features including revamped personalization panel with the support of more color palettes, an updated notifications panel, revamped Music Player, Bluetooth LE audio support, per-app language feature, app notifications permission, and many more. AT&T’s support page also confirms a newer monthly security patch. This release brings April 2023 monthly security patch. At the time of writing, we are not aware of the stability of the new update. I suggest you wait for a few days for an incremental upgrade and then install it on your phone, or if you are in a hurry, then you can take a backup of important data and then install it on your phone. If you own a Moto G 5G (2022) and want to update to the Android 13 OS, then you can navigate to Settings > System > Advanced > System updates and check for the new updates. As it is currently in a rolling phase, you can wait for a few days for the official OTA notification. If the update is not available, you can wait for a few days or update it manually. Before updating your phone make sure to charge it to at least 50% and also make a backup of important data. If you’ve any queries, then make sure to leave a comment in the comment box.
