Today, Carl Pei, the founder of Nothing, has confirmed that the Android 14 beta access will soon be available for its Phone 1. Carl has not shared the exact date for the Android 14 beta access, but, his tweet hints that Nothing Phone 1 will be the first non-Pixel device to get a taste of the next-generation Android OS. Nothing Phone 1 received its first-ever software upgrade – the Android 13 based Nothing OS 1.5 earlier this February. Now the company is preparing to release the second big software upgrade, if everything goes fine Phone 1 users can expect the stable upgrade by the end of this year. In terms of features and changes, you can expect the new smart scaling, better battery life, restrict access for photos and videos, satellite connectivity, app cloning, predictive back gestures, security enhancements, and much more. Nothing might push some additional features with the upcoming Nothing OS based Android upgrade.
