Nothing to ditch the “Plus” moniker in favor of “Pro” for its high-end model
Per the exclusive report, Nothing will launch two phones under the Phone (3a) series, namely, the Nothing Phone (3a) 5G and Phone (3a) Pro 5G. Did you notice something? Nothing has reportedly decided to go with the “Pro” name for its upcoming high-end phone instead of “Plus,” which it has been using to refer to beefier models from the previous generations. Enough about the names; let’s jump into some leaked details of both the devices.
Nothing Phone (3a) 5G and Phone (3a) Pro 5G: RAM and Storage Options
The Nothing Phone (3a) 5G will reportedly be available in two variants. The first variant comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Whereas, the beefier variant will offer 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. We are guessing neither of the variants will offer support for expandable storage. On the other hand, the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro 5G will only be available in one variant, featuring 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Nothing Phone (3a) 5G and Phone (3a) Pro 5G: Colors
Moving on, each model of both phones will reportedly be available in two colors, with both flaunting the Black shades. However, it’s not clear if both black colors will be the same. Nothing might go with different shades of black… but we’ll see. Not to forget, the Nothing Phone (3a) 5G will also be available in White shade. On the other hand, the Pro 5G variant will also be available in Gray color.
Previous leaks suggest the Nothing Phone (3a) 5G will be a mid-ranger beast
As far as specs are concerned, previous leaks (via Gizmochina) have suggested that the Nothing Phone (3a) 5G with model number A059 will be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC. It will sport a 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED 120Hz display and boot Android 15-based Nothing OS 3.1 skin out of the box. The supposedly mid-range device will feature three cameras, accompanied by a new glyph interface as indicated by the launch teaser. Speaking of camera details, the leak hints that there’ll be a 50MP primary sensor next to a 50MP 2x telephoto sensor and an 8MP ultrawide lens. The device will also include a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies. Moreover, the Nothing Phone (3a) 5G reportedly packs a 5000mAh battery, offers 45W of fast charging and comes with NFC support.
