If you joined the developer preview program last month, then you’ll get the second developer preview build update over the air. However, if you’re running on the stable Android 12, then you can manually upgrade your device to the Android 13 DP to try out the new features and changes in the Android. Although we don’t recommend installing the DP on your primary smartphone if you have a secondary smartphone or are in a haste to try Android 13, then you can follow the steps listed in the installation section. OnePlus kicks off the new Android 13 developer preview with optimized the overall shooting effect of the camera and a May 2022 monthly security patch as well. The company has addressed a bunch of issues in this update, the list includes data usage showing incorrect issues, issue of crashing while turning on / off the 5G network, unable to close all background programs, and the issue where the lock screen password was required to enter after factory reset.
