Oppo has already rolled out Android 12 based ColorOS 12 to several of its eligible phones. And they are continuously working on upgrades for the remaining phones. There are several Oppo phones in the line which are scheduled to receive Android 12 in the next three months. Since this is a beta update, interested users will have to apply for the beta program to test Android 12 on their Oppo phones. There is a quota of 5000 users for each phone. This means that only 5000 users can apply for the beta program for each phone and the last date to join the beta program is April 8. The ColorOS 12 Beta program for Oppo F19 and Oppo F19s is available in India whereas the Android 12 beta for Oppo A74 and Oppo A95 is live in Indonesia. If you are an Oppo A95 user and want to apply for the Android 12 based ColorOS 12 Beta program then the required version is A.09 and for the other three phones, the required version is A.23. As this is a beta update, there can be bugs so we don’t recommend installing it on your primary phone unless you don’t mind bugs. And if you have any of the four phones as a secondary device then you can apply for the beta without any doubt. If you are interested in trying the ColorOS 12 beta on your Oppo phone then you can apply for it following the given steps. Now your application has been submitted successfully. If there’s an empty slot (5000 seats) in the beta program, then you’ll receive the update within the 3 days. Before updating your phone to ColorOS 12 Beta, make sure to take a full backup of your phone and charge it to at least 50%.
