The phone later picked up the first major update, Android 14, which means Android 15 is the second major update for the device. The Android 15 and ColorOS 15 update brings several new features like faster animations, app icons, themes, lock screen customization, AI features, and more. So if you want to get the stable update before others, you can apply for the official version right away. Make sure your phone is running the latest build CPH2531_14.0.0.717(EX01) or CPH2531_14.0.0.716(EX01). The update is rolling out first in India. So if you are from India, you can apply by following the steps below. Go to Settings > About device > Tap the top of the page > Tap icon on the top right > Trial versions > Official version > Apply Now. Once done, you will receive the update go back and select Detect the update option > Download now. That’s it.
