Earlier this week, Oppo announced the official ColorOS 15 roadmap and commenced the update rollout earlier than scheduled. The update is currently rolling out to users in India, and it will soon expand to other regions. Android 15-based ColorOS 15 is the second major update for the Oppo Reno 10 Pro, which brings a bunch of new features, including the first AI batch. You can expect changes such as enhanced animations, new lock screen customization tools, private space, new app icons, new themes, and more. For more details, you can check out the dedicated article on ColorOS 15. If you have an Oppo Reno 10 Pro, you can apply for the official version to receive the update early. This isn’t a beta build; they do this to allow users to access the stable version before others. To do this, make sure your phone has the latest update installed, and then apply for the major update by following the instructions below.
Go to Settings > About device > Tap the top of the page > Tap icon on the top right > Trial versions > Official version > Apply Now
Now go to the system update page in Settings and check for the update. The new Android 15 update will be available. This is a big update weighing more than 1 GB. Before installing the ColorOS 15 update, make sure to backup your device and charge it to at least 50%. If you’ve already used the update, we’d love to hear your experience with us. Also Check:
