ColorOS 14 based Android 14 is the first major update for Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ 5G, whereas for Reno8 Pro 5G it is the second major update. Oppo announced the update in its official community forum. But it lacks details like build number and changelog. But we can easily guess most of the features since these are common ColorOS 14 features. This include Trinity Engine for a performance boost, optimized Aquamorphic Design with new sound effects, color systems, Aqua Dynamics (Oppo’s naming for live activities), Go Green AOD screens, new AI-powered features including Smart Touch, File Dock; new privacy features, and more. There could also be an upgrade to Android security patch. As per the announcement page, the Android 14 update for both devices is rolling out in India first. It should be available in more regions. If you own Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ or Oppo Reno 8 Pro then you can update your phone to the latest version by going to Go to Settings > About device > Tap the top of the page > Tap icon on the top right > Trial versions > Official version > Apply Now. Make sure to first update your phone to the latest Android 13 build. Keep in mind that your phone is running on the newest software version, also take a backup of important data and charge your phone at least 50%.
