The cinematic trailer that was revealed during the announcement talks about how one particular member of their team has gone missing, and they have one goal: to find the missing member. While they do manage to get the missing team member, there are still a lot of things waiting to attack them.
Rainbow Six Extraction Gameplay
The gameplay is similar to that of previous Rainbow Six games. You have to choose from many operators and go out fighting against the aliens that have formed from the parasite Chimera that began in New Mexico. The outbreak can now be seen spreading along through various cities within the US. Your goal? You have one job. As a member of the Rainbow Exogenous Analysis and Containment Team aka React, you will have to confront the various number of creatures who will try their best to attack and eventually cause harm to the city by spreading the virus around. Like all Rainbow Six games, Extraction has a total of 18 operators for you to choose from. However, only 12 operators have been revealed. The remaining six operators will be revealed gradually before the game reaches its launch date. The 12 operators known so far are as follows. While all the operators will be having their own special skills and abilities, they always have a piece of tech that helps them even better. While you are out and about taking down these crazy aliens, you will have 12 containment zones where there are plenty of things that keep changing. From the infection evolving to the housing of the parasites as well as the enemies’ base, you will have to infiltrate them as soon as possible since you will never know when and what happens. There are three zones in New York: Liberty Island, Police Stations, and Monolith Gardens. The next three are in San Francisco: Tenderloin, Apollo Casino, and Resort Enterprise Space Foundation. The other three are in Alaska: Nome, Eurydice Valley, and Orpheus Research Center. The final three zones are located in the Truth or Consequences Town: Sierra County, Hospital Dam, and Downtown. The game has 5 different kinds of enemies known as the Archæans. You will be facing these guys at various containment zones in the game.
