Xiaomi is sowing the MIUI 12 based Android 11 build on Redmi 9 with V12.0.1.0.RJCMIXM software version. The device was announced back in June 2020 with Android 10 OS, later it received MIUI 12 update, now it’s a time for a major upgrade, the Android 11 update. As it is a major update, it weighs more than usual OTA patches. The best part about the roll out is, it’s a global stable update, it will be available to everyone over-the-air. Talking about the changes, then for the time being, the changelog is not available to us. But we can expect the update cloud bring essential features of Android 11 alongside the updated monthly security patch and bugs fixes.
