Xiaomi kicks off the latest update with 12.0.2.0.RCXEUXM (for Europe), V12.0.2.0.RCXMIXM (Global) build number on the Redmi Note 8T, the full ROM measures around 2.5GB in size for downloading. At the time of writing, the update is limited to Europe, wider rollout may take a few more days or weeks (in worst scenario). Redmi Note 8T was announced back in November 2019. The device initially ran on Android Pie 9.0 during launch. Later, it receives its first every big software update in the form of Android 10. Now it’s time for another major overhaul with the Android 11 OS. Talking about the changes and enhancements, then the Redmi Note 8T users can now access features such as chat bubbles, dark mode scheduling, enhanced privacy controls, and other basic functionalities of Android 11.
