Recently the update was released for Galaxy A40s in China and since they share almost similar specs, the update was expected. And Samsung delivered the update without any delay. Currently, the Galaxy A30 Android 11 update is available in India. And as we know the update process from Samsung, it shouldn’t take much for other regions to join the party. Galaxy A30 is a budget phone from Samsung and it was released with Android 9 out of the box. Later the device received its first major update as Android 10 based on One UI 2.0. The device is available in many regions with a small change in the device model. Currently, the SM-A305F is receiving updates in India. It is the second major update for Galaxy A30. If we talk about new features, then you should be expecting many new features. The update comes with the April 2021 security patch. The features that you will get to experience in Galaxy Android 11 update are chat bubbles, improved notification controls, support for Google home controls, enhanced privacy settings, camera improvements, and more. Also, if there is any bug in the last update, you can expect it to be fixed on Android 11. Since we don’t have the access to full changelog yet, you can let us know if you already received the update. As you know the Android 11 for Galaxy A30 is available first in India, you can expect the update any time soon if you are from India. Samsung rolls out One UI updates in batches and so it is possible that you get the update early or there can be some delay. You can always check for the update manually by going to Settings > Software Update. You will see the latest update if available, click on Download & Install button to get the Android 11 update. But in case you didn’t get the update on your and can’t wait for the OTA then luckily the Android 11 firmware is available for Galaxy A30. You can choose the manual upgrade option with Firmware. You can download Galaxy A30 Firmware from Samsung Firmware Downloader, Frija tool, SamFirm tool, or SamMobile website. If you are using one of the tools then enter your model and country code and download the firmware. Once downloaded, you can flash the firmware using the Odin Tool. I recommend you take a backup prior to diving into the process. That’s it.
