The original Galaxy Fold received the stable Android 12 based One UI 4.0 about two weeks ago and is now available for its 5G version as well. Since it is a device with a different form factor, the new update will bring new features as well as enhance the user experience for the big screen. Since it is a major update, the update will weigh higher than other incremental updates. So make sure to update your phone using WiFi or check if you have enough internet data left. Galaxy Fold 5G Android 12 update brings the latest January 2022 Android security patch. Talking about new features, the Android 12 update brings a bunch of new features. The stable Android 12 for the Galaxy Fold 5G is currently rolling out in the UK, and it will soon be available in other regions as well. So if you are a Galaxy Fold 5G user in the UK, you will get the OTA update soon. This is a staged rollout so it will take some time to be available to all users. If you are using one of the tools then enter your model and country code and download the firmware. Once downloaded, you can flash the firmware using Odin Tool.
