As, Samsung started One UI 4.0 testing, we can expect One UI 3.1.1 could be the last update based on Android 11. Last month, the update goes live for the Galaxy Z Flip, Fold 2, and Fold. Now it lands on the Galaxy Tab S7 series. The new firmware on Galaxy Tab S7 comes with T976BXXU2BUI1 firmware version. Like every other big update, this patch requires a big chunk of data for downloading, talking about the One UI 3.1.1 OTA size, then it measures around 1.3GB of download size. The update is currently weeding over-the-air in regions of Europe, we can expect wider rollout in the coming days. Now let’s talk about the features, Samsung is pushing the One UI 3.1.1 to Tab S7 lineup with a couple of improvements to multi-tasking with three-split view, new switch function, and ability to open split-screen view by dragging the screen from side. Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 One UI 3.1.1 Update
The Galaxy Tab S7 users can now upgrade their tablet to the newer One UI 3.1.1 update and access the features from Samsung’s premium foldable smartphone. At the time of writing the update is limited in select regions, it will take some time to reach every device. You can also check the update manually, as sometimes OTA notification does not arrive. You can check it by going to the Settings > Software Updates to check the latest updates. But if you can’t wait for the update to arrive over the air, then you can also manually install the update using firmware. You can download the firmware from Frija tool, SamFirm tool, Samsung Firmware Downloader. If you are using one of the tools then enter your model and country code and download the firmware. Once downloaded, you can flash the firmware using Odin Tool. Then flash the Firmware on your device. If you want to do so, then I recommend you take a backup prior to diving into the process.
