As we expected, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 started receiving the update right after the Galaxy Z Flip 3. This comes as no surprise as both phones get updates almost at the same time. And just like the Galaxy Z Flip 3, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is also getting Android 12 stable first in Korea. If you’re a Galaxy Z Fold 3 user but not from Korea, don’t worry it won’t take long to expand to other regions. According to a report by SamMobile, the first stable One UI 4.0 has been released for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 running Android 11. And later it was extended to devices with One UI 4.0 beta as well. Currently, we don’t have information about the build and software version. It will be different for different regions. Now coming to new features and changes, you can expect most of the features from the One UI 4.0 changelog we shared a few days back. It includes Android 12 inspired widgets, material theming, improved UI, Camera improvements, and a lot more. As usual, the update is available in batches. Since it is a staged rollout, it can take some time to reach all the devices in the region it is available. Sometimes the update notification doesn’t pop up, so in that case, you can manually check for updates from Settings > Software Update. And when the update is available click on Download and Install. Samsung will soon roll out Android 12 on more devices as per its One UI 4.0 rollout plan.
