Samsung is pushing the new software upgrade to the third generation of foldable (SM-F926B) with the F926BXXU5FWH5 firmware version. While the Galaxy Z Flip 3 (SM-F711B) picks up the latest update with the F711BXXU6FWH3 software version. At the time of writing, the upgrade is limited to select countries in Europe and Asia, it will be available to everyone in the coming days. The update bags the August 2023 monthly security patch as well as a bunch of new features. In terms of details, the One UI 5.1.1 update comes with improved flex mode panel in which users can easily choose the control they want to see or hide, multi window to open second open in the flex mode without interfering with the first app, and some other new features. If you own the Galaxy Flip 3 or Fold 3 and live in Europe, you will receive the One UI 5.1.1 in OTA format. You can check for the update by going to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. The new update will show here that you can install after taking the backup.
