Samsung is pushing new software to the Watch 4 with the R8xxUSQU1ZWF1 version number, whereas, the Watch 5 picks up the update with the R9xxXXU1BWH3 software version. As it is a major upgrade, it weighs a whopping 1.7GB in download size. At the time of writing, the upgrade is available in the US and the Republic of South Korea. We can expect a wider rollout in the coming days. Some users have already received the update and confirmed the rollout. Talking about the changes, then the One UI Watch 5 based on Wear OS 4 comes out with features like upgraded sleep management feature through a more intuitive UI with a detailed analysis of the Sleep Score, Sleep Consistency and Sleep Animal Symbols. The update also comes with a Personalized Heart Rate zone feature, more enhanced GPX for Watch 5 Pro, better health monitoring with the Irregular Heart Rhythm Notification (IHRN), new watch faces, and more. Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5 series users from South Korea and the US can check new software updates in the Galaxy Wearable app. To check new updates, you can navigate to Galaxy Wearable app > Settings > Software Updates. If the update is available you can download and install it on your watch, if not, you can wait for a few days.
