Samsung released the Galaxy A01 in January 2020 with Android 10 OS, last year, the phone received its first major software upgrade as the Android 11 OS. And now, Samsung is pushing the Android 12 firmware to Galaxy A01 with the A015FXXU5CVK5 software version. Just like the Android 11 upgrade, it is going to be a major upgrade weighing more than the incremental security patches. Samsung is seeding the new firmware with September 2022 monthly security patch. The new upgrade is rolling with a bunch of new features such as new widgets, very smooth animations while opening and closing apps, overhauled quick panel, automatic dark mode for wallpapers, icons, and illustrations, new charging animation, and much more. At the time of writing, the over-the-air update is available in Uzbekistan, and Samsung should release the update in more markets soon. If you own the Galaxy A01, then you can head over to the Software Upgrades settings and check for the new updates, if not available wait for a few days.
