Today, the company has fulfilled its promise and begun rolling out the One UI update to 2023 models. Folks over at SamMobile shared several details of the anticipated software upgrade. One UI update is based on Tizen OS 8.0 and currently seeding to the S90C OLED TV, which was released in 2023. It recently received a software upgrade ending with a 2000 version number, and now received the One UI update ending with a 2011 build number. We do have a couple of Samsung Smart TVs on the team and we checked our units, our CUE60 4K UHD TV is running on the 2003 software version and is yet to receive the One UI update. One UI update for Samsung Smart TVs rolling out with a flurry of useful features, including new interface, UI improvements, new Game Bar features, and more. The update adopts UI elements from the One UI software on Samsung smartphones, matching app icons for some apps. Remote Setting/123/Colour Button Based on usage history and present circumstances, tailored channel and setting recommendations can be provided Smart Things loT cameras can be used through the Smart Things app on mobile devices Accessibility The Accessibility Shortcut can rearrange its options according to usage frequency. Programme Guide The design has been updated to enhance user convenience and “Samsung TV Plus” has been added as a new category. On-screen keypad Supported languages have been expanded. The mouse Drag & Drop feature has been enhanced, and when a mobile device is connected, the input pad will be displayed on the mobile screen automatically. Game Bar The game bar interface has been changed to the latest design. Multi View Zoom in screens on request. When mirroring a mobile device, you can use keyboard and mouse controls. Daily Board With Daily Board, you can decorate the screen with beautiful wallpapers and useful widgets – even when the screen is off. ConnecTime New features include video calls, messaging, and mobile screen sharing for TV and mobile.
