Now it receives its first ever major OS update – Android 11 update, weirdly, this one is also based on Funtouch OS 11. Luckily, there are some users who have already received the update. Yes, the twitter user (@arnoldkigs1) in Kenya grabbed the Android 11 update over-the-air. And he also got a confirmation reply to its tweet from Vivo Kenya’s Official Twitter handle. So, we can expect a wider rollout in coming days. Vivo’s latest update brings a number of new features to the smartphone, it comes with features like number of visual changes, customizable AOD, Multi-turbo mode 4.0, rounded icons, and a few other changes as well. Other than that, you can use the basic features of Android 11 on the Vivo Y12s. As it is a major update, it requires a big chunk of data for sideloading the update.

Vivo Y12s users now officially upgrade their smartphone to the Android 11 OS, however, as for now, the update is available in Kenya. It will be available in other countries in the coming days.
