Since March 2021, Vivo is testing the update on a number of Y-series phones including the Vivo Y12, Vivo S1, Vivo V15 Pro, Vivo Z1x, and Vivo Z1 Pro. Now the South African twitter handle of Vivo, revealed that Grey Scale testing is going on for the Vivo Y50. We can expect that testing is going in the South Korean region, it will be available for other regions in the coming days. It also suggests that the update is in staged rollout phase, soon it will be released through normal OTA channel. Funtouch OS 11 based Android 11 update is going to be the first major OS upgrade for the Vivo Y50. It will require a chunk of data for downloading. In terms of changes, then the Vivo Y50 Android 11 update could come with features like number of visual changes, customizable AOD, Multi-turbo mode 4.0, rounded icons, and a few other changes as well. Vivo Y50 starts getting Funtouch OS 11 update, at the time of writing, it is available for select users only.
