There’s no clear mention of it on the Hisense website or support documents. Everyone is confused about whether to turn it on or off because there’s little information about it. In this post, we’ll unravel the mystery behind this Hisense TV feature and tell you how to deactivate or activate it. Let’s begin.

What’s Intelligent Scene Mode Useful For?

The Intelligent Scene Mode on your Hisense TV is a picture calibration setting. The AI Picture Optimization option automatically fine-tunes the TV’s picture settings for the best possible color production. Unlike the basic picture modes, this one uses Artificial Intelligence to improve the picture scene-by-scene. We noticed its superiority while watching content that has some dull senses. After enabling the AI Picture Optimization mode, the scene was brighter and full of colors. Note that it doesn’t go overboard with the overall scene improvement. So, don’t worry about altering the picture so much that the scene loses its originality. Don’t confuse this mode with adaptive picture mode because additional sensors are needed to learn about your room’s lighting and other aspects. Hisense TVs have multiple OS versions, but not all have the Intelligent Scene Mode (or Smart Scene in some models). We found that the Hisense TVs with VIDAA OS are the only ones that include this setting. The brand has also integrated dedicated AI processors in some select models that apply this AI scene optimization by default. You won’t find this setting inside if you own a Hisense TV with RokuOS, Google TV, or Android TV. Recently, some Hisense TVs (U6K and above models) also have an AI Sports mode that does the same but adds sound enhancements and a few more tweaks.

How to Enable or Disable Intelligent Scene Mode in VIDAA OS

You might have one or more scene modes depending on your TV model. However, all these AI enhancement options will appear under the Intelligent Scene Mode section. Repeat the following steps to access and toggle the mode on or off: Step 1: Press the Settings button on your TV remote. Step 2: Navigate to Picture > Intelligent Mode Settings option. Step 3: Highlight the AI Picture Optimization or any other available setting and toggle it on. Close the Settings, play a movie or video, and check the color production now. If you don’t like the overall impact of this feature, revisit the same section and toggle it off. Wrapping Up Almost every TV manufacturer is marketing AI-enhanced TVs in some way or other. Due to the hardware limitations, most of this is more of a gimmick than helpful. But expensive TVs use a dedicated processor, making the result much better. In the comments, tell us about your experience with AI picture modes on your TV.
