Stable Android 15 Release for Pixel
Google follows a long testing process for major Android upgrades that lasts for several months before rolling out to the public. The process starts with a Developer preview followed by another developer preview and a few beta builds, progressing month by month. Google is following the same pattern this year. The company initiated testing with the first Android 15 developer preview in February, followed by a second developer preview next month. So far total of three betas released till June with one more beta to release this month. The search-based tech giant has officially announced its second major event of the year, the Made by Google event scheduled for August 13. Google released new Pixel phones along with new versions of Android and Wear OS. This means Android 15 will be released to the Public starting August 13. The rollout happens in batches, so it may take some time to cover all the eligible Pixel phones. Talking about eligibility, Pixel 6 and newer Pixel are eligible for the latest Android 15 update.
