Microsoft kicks off the new cumulative update with a 10.0.22621.160 (KB5014770) build number. It is a small incremental upgrade you can quickly install on your PC. The firm has begun testing File Explorer tabs via cumulative preview updates. The testing of File Explorer tabs started last week with the Windows 11 Insider Preview 25136 build. And now its a time for the beta channel, if everything goes fine, soon the new feature will make its way to the release preview channel and later in the stable channel. With the new File Explorer tabs, users can work on more than one thing at the same time, the title bar of the File Explorer gets the new tabs feature. Not only this but there are some changes to the File Explorer as well, which comes with the refreshed layout of the left navigation pane, the updated section provides easy access to your pinned and frequently used folders (Quick access) and your OneDrive cloud profiles. Apart from the updated File Explorer tabs, the update goes live with improvements and fixes.
