Microsoft kicks off the new build to the eligible PCs with Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 25926.1000 (rs_prerelease) build number. It is a small upgrade which means you can quickly update your system. If you are a tester in the Canary channel, you may have already received the new update. In terms of changes, the Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 25926 brings a big change to the notification bell icon appearing on the taskbar. Now, when you receive a notification, the bell icon will be colorized, and it will remain empty when there are no notifications. Today’s incremental upgrade also brings integration of Paint and Clipchamp to the Snipping tool to quickly edit screenshots or screen recordings, these capabilities are available on the Snipping tool (version 11.2306.43.0 and higher). Other than that, the update acquires improvements for Windows Ink, improved screen casting experience, local file sharing improvements, and more from developer build. Snipping Tool Update We are beginning to roll out an update to Snipping Tool (version 11.2306.43.0 and higher) to Windows Insiders in the Canary and Dev Channels. This update introduces new buttons to edit in Paint for screenshots and edit in Clipchamp for screen recordings. If your PC is running on Windows 11 with the canary channel in Windows Insider Preview Program, then you can install the new release preview build on your system. You can check for the new update by visiting Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates.
