Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is a two year old device that was released with Android 9 out of the box. And later last year the device received Android 10 as the first major update. And now the Mi 9 SE receives Android 11 as the second major update. The phone received some MIUI updates in the past two years. This may be the last major Android update for Mi 9 SE. Mi 9 SE Android 11 global stable is rolling out with build number V12.5.1.0.RFBMIXM. Since this is a major update, it will weigh more than any usual updates. The Mi 9 SE Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 is also rolling out in Europe with build number V12.5.1.0.RFBEUXM. Talking about new features you can expect a bunch of new features and even the security patch upgrade. To manually check for the update go to Settings > Software update. And once you see the update, click on download and install to get the update.
